Purple Heart Day, observed annually on August 7th, is a day dedicated to honoring the
bravery and sacrifice of U.S. military personnel who have been wounded or killed in service.
Established in 1944, the day commemorates the Purple Heart edal, which was originally
awarded to Revolutionary War veterans and later formalized for those wounded in combat. The purple heart symbolizes the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of our service members, serving as a tangible reminder of their unwavering commitment to our nation.
At Inspire Aviation, we hold deep respect and admiration for the men and women who
serve in our military. We recognize their dedication, bravery, and the sacrifices they make to
keep our country safe. Our team actively seeks opportunities to honor veterans and show
appreciation for their service. During the upcoming Props and Pistons Festival, Inspire Aviation will be performing a special Veterans Ceremony to honor our military heroes. This event is an expression of our commitment to recognizing the sacrifices of veterans and providing a platform to celebrate their heroism and enduring spirit. Inspire Aviation believes it is vital to honor veterans not just on specific days but throughout the year.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
